The presenter introduces the Official Team of this KOF. The team leader is one of KOFG’s original characters, a young man named Yomi. He has teamed up with Yamazaki and Billy Kane.
Yamazaki is his usual deranged self, while Billy is strangely meek and only mutters broken sentences that sound like “Terry… I’ll kill you…”. The strange purple gleam in Billy’s eyes is an indication that he’s under the control of some unknown power.
The presenter then introduces the host of the event, another one of KOFG’s original characters. His name is Nagi, and he’s the one who sent a letter to the Protagonist, inviting her to the tournament.
Nagi explains that the purpose of the event is to gather strong people, who will have the honor of being selected to populate a utopia, which Nagi calls “Shinsekai” (Divine World).
However, those who aren’t chosen should resign themselves to “return to nothingness”.
After the speech, Nagi sees Yukari among the crowd and he looks pleased, even though Yukari is sure that she doesn’t know the guy.
“Ah… I knew you would come, my princess. Soon, you and I will be in charge of the Shinsekai,” Nagi says.
Yukari can’t make sense of his words.
“He really seems to know you. Do you recognize him?” Benimaru asks.
“No! I don’t know him!” Yukari replies.
Nagi gets closer to them. Kyo and the others decide to take Yukari somewhere safe because Nagi is “suspicious”. But, even though Kyo tells Yukari not to leave his side, she’s flanked by reporters who noticed that she might have a connection to the “mysterious host”.
Kyo, Benimaru and Shingo lose sight of Yukari among the crowd.
This is the story included in Billy Kane’s SR card “The Fangs of a Mad Dog” in KOF for Girls.

Yukari finished grocery shopping earlier than expected and tells herself that it would be a waste to return home early. She decides to take a walk in the park and finds Billy tending to his bo. She approaches him and asks if she can make him company.
Intrigued at her intense stare, Billy asks if she wants something.
“When you’re focused on your weapon, your expression changes. It’s like seeing a new side of you,” she explains.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Billy asks.
“Eh… There’s usually a grimace on your lips and you’re always frowning… Like this!”
Yukari does an imitation of Billy’s grimace.
“I don’t make such strange faces!” protests Billy, but then he adds: “I hadn’t noticed it. Am I always like that? Now that I think about it, Geese-sama also told me that I should relax more…”
“Heheh, if you frown like that, you’ll get wrinkles,” teases Yukari. “You always look troubled, but just now, you had a gentle expression on your face. That weapon is very important for you, isn’t it?”
“Important, you say… When you look at it, don’t you think it’s scary?” Billy asks.
“It’s a bit scary because it’s a tool to hurt people, but if it’s important to you, then it’s fine.”
“Heh, I see.”
Billy reflects on the bo being important to him. He looks up at the sky. He then asks Yukari:
“Tell me, do you have anything you want to protect at all costs?”
“Eh… Something I want to… protect?”
The game gives you the option to reply “the dojo”.
“The dojo where everyone has gathered. Where I cook and become more disciplined…” says Yukari. “I think I need to give my all for the place where everyone can be together.”
Then Billy explains:
“I want to become strong, for the person I should have protected… The person I vowed my allegiance to. And I want to keep on fighting.
Until now, this hasn’t changed. And it won’t change in the future.”
And he goes on:
“You said that this bo seems like an important possession. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that this is my ‘partner’. It’s an important part of me. I’m here right now, because I have it. I can’t picture myself without it.”
Yukari says that in that case, the bo is like a medal representing Billy’s merits. He likes the analogy.
Then Yukari asks about the device whereby Billy can set his bo aflame, but he doesn’t want to reveal the secret.
She concludes that releasing fire through his bo is another way to “become stronger” and Billy agrees, and tells her a bit about Geese-sama, without mentioning his name:
“Yeah. Because “he” was incredibly powerful. I needed to be strong in order to be by his side. That’s why I became strong, and why I need to be strong from now on. It was to help him protect the world he built. He took me in. And it was because of him that I’m able to do this now.”
Yukari realizes that the person who was important to Billy is not there anymore.
She then says that she wants to become stronger, to stop being the one who needs protection, and start protecting other people instead. And the first step is to learn some self-defense so she asks Billy to teach him how to fight. He doesn’t reject her, but says that he will do so at his own convenience. Yukari is happy and says that she looks forward to it.
