Kuronue's first and only appearance is in the second movie. When one of the bad guys takes his shape to use it against Kurama, knowing that he was sort of important Kurama's past. He used various pendulums to create sounds and 'hypnotice' the youko, changing Kurama's memories, making him think that he had tended a trap for Kuronue to take the treasure for himself. Kurama gets aware that's not his friend, that Kuronue died to save him, and he killed the bastard.
