Kuronue is a black winged youkai. His wings resembles a bat ones, but his name means 'Black Crane'. Long black hair that collect in a pony tail. Pale and with blue eyes, inches shorter than Youko Kurama. Comrade of occupation of Kurama, he use white weapons and he died when, in the run away of a rovery they've done, his pendant fall and he returns for it. Some bamboos went through his body, he yelled Kurama to leave, to save himself. The first and only apparison of Kuronue in YYH is in the second movie. The 'world' is divided in: ningenkai -human world-, reikai -spiritual world- and makai -demon's world. But there's other part called 'meikai' -the death's world- and it's a place where condemned souls are sent, you can also compare with what we call hell. A lot of time ago a war took place between reikai and meikai, the reikai won. Enma Daioh, being the supreme figure in the reikai exiled Yakumo, the meikai's king, to the deeper part of the meikai. The movie begin when the estygia river overflow and flood over reikai. It's meikai's work. One of Yakumo's bailiffs took Kuronue's shape, an important friend of Kurama in his past. He used various scythes creating sounds and hypnotized Kurama, making him believe that he had betrayed his friend. Kurama find out all of this, get angry, and destroyed the impostor. There's no further information of Kuronue, he just appear in this movie. A dark character and mysterious also. And something even more mysterious is the pendant, so important for him.
